At a May 27 Old Rochester Regional School Committee meeting, Superintendent Doug White said a project to reinstall a press box at the high school is now fully funded. 

The project has been funded by the Old Rochester Regional Athletic Booster Club.

Engineers have looked at the three phases of the project, and once the school has a permit from the town it can start to erect the shipping containers that will make up the handicap accessible press box.  

White said community members may see some construction on the field this summer. 

On a related note, White joked “we always wanted to give the fields a rest so there could be some growth of grass. We didn’t mean for it to happen this way, but we did give the fields a season of rest.”
