Prevent dehydration, track your water intake

Jul 3, 2018

With temperatures spiking into the 90's and expected to stay high through Friday, July 6, the Marion Board of Health is reminding area residents to increase fluid intake to decrease the risk of dehydration.

Based on the recommendation that everyone drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water daily, nurse Melissa Bernier has created a reusable personal reminder card to help residents to keep track of daily water intake. The cards are magnetized and suitable for mounting on refrigerators.

The Marion Board of Health and the Marion Council on Aging have a limited number of these cards available for area residents.
