NEW BEDFORD — The Prince Henry Society of the Greater New Bedford Area has opened applications for a scholarship awarded to students who have an interest in Portuguese culture, live in the Greater New Bedford area, and will pursue an associate’s or bachelor’s degree at an accredited college or university.

Old Rochester Regional High School and Old Colony Regional High School students are eligible to apply.

Applications can be found in the guidance offices of Old Rochester Regional High School and Old Colony Vocational High School, or online at princehenrysociety.com/scholarship2020/.

The deadline to submit is April 1 and scholarships will be awarded at the society’s annual scholarship brunch on June 21.
