Wrestling program

Registration for the Marconi Station Wrestling Program’s 2015-16 season is Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 6:15 to 8 p.m. at the Marion Recreation building, 13 Atlantis Drive.

Boys and girls from kindergarten to eighth grade may attend. The cost is $95, which includes singlet and T-shirt.

Babysitting, home alone class

Offered Friday, Nov. 13 from 4 to 6:30 p.m., the home alone class will cover telephone protocol, basic first aid and is designed to encourage children to be more independent and comfortable while home alone.

Children 9 to 11 years old may attend. The cost is $45 per student. The registration deadline is Nov. 9.

The babysitting class will be offered immediately following the home alone class. This class is designed for boys and girls from 11 to 14 years old.  It will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Marion Recreation Department.

The course will cover first aid, and give the children the knowledge and confidence to become a great babysitter. The is $40 per student. The registration deadline is Nov. 9.
