Relay for life networking marketplace will be held on March 28 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Mattapoisett.

Several local business's and vendors will be setting up shop for a night of shopping and networking. Proceeds from the evening will support "team family ties" and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

Vendors include, Pampered Chef, Silpada, Arribonne, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, Zoolittle 2, Inside Out Acupuncture, Mary Kay, Rita's intuitive readings, and many more.

There will be appetizers courtesy of the Shipyard Galley.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is an event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease. At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relay For Life is an overnight event that lasts up to 24 hours.

Relay for Life will start June 8 at the Old Rochester Regional Junior High School.
