RE/MAX opening doors in Marion
RE/MAX will open its doors next week in Marion, and according to real estate agent Wayne Bellamare, the office will also serve as a fundraising space for charity.
His office is partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network, and as a “Miracle House,” Bellamare said he will require all of his agents to donate part of their commission to charity. Bellamare said his office is also working with the Susan G. Komen foundation.
Before coming to Marion, Bellamare was a partner in a New Bedford real estate company. Being with an independent real estate office was difficult, he said, because of the lack of tools needed to serve the clients successfully.
Bellamare said it was this lack of resources that led him to research franchises such as RE/MAX. After analyzing all of the information, he said, it was RE/MAX that was the model for what he set out to develop.
“We need a more stable market in the area,” said Bellamare, a Rochester resident. “Even though the real estate market has been down awhile, this is a desirable area to live. People want to live in these communities.”
Bellamare shares his office space with Michelle Rodriguez of Inside Out Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Together, Bellamare and Rodriguez will host an open house on Nov. 10 to celebrate the official openings of both of their new businesses at 140 Wareham St.
