Rev. Jeffrey Cave to lead last service of season for St. Phillip's chapel

MATTAPOISETT — The Rev. Jeffrey Cave, honorary assistant at the Church of Our Savior in Atlanta, Georgia, will lead the Sunday, Sept. 2, service. it will be the last service of the season for the little white chapel by the sea.
Services using the 1928 Book of Common Prayer are conducted at 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. each Sunday through Labor Day weekend. St. Philip's has a tradition of bringing in visiting clergy for its summer season. The 134-year-old chapel is closed during fall, winter and spring.
St. Philip’s Episcopal Church is located next to the Town Beach in Mattapoisett. All are welcome.
