Robert E. Gosselin, Jr., 62, of Dartmouth passed away Friday, Jan. 10 surrounded by his loving family and close friends at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. (DeMello) Gosselin.

Born in New Bedford, son of the late Robert E. Gosselin, Sr. and Barbara (Gifford) Gosselin, he was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth. He was the Owner and Operator of Gosselin & Son Trucking, Inc. of Dartmouth. Bob enjoyed driving trucks, camping with his family, old western movies and country music.

Survivors along with his wife include his son Robert F. Gosselin and his wife Liz of Dartmouth; his two daughters Melanie L. Gosselin and her fiancé Michael Audette of Dartmouth and Jessica A. Duarte and her husband David of Westport; two brothers, Steven W. Gosselin of Dartmouth and Lewis Gosselin of Florida; three sisters, Sharon Bentley of Mattapoisett; Cheryl White of Florida and Sandra Gosselin of Dartmouth; five grandchildren, Katie, Brianna, Lane, Rylee and Madison; as well as several nieces and one nephew.

Funeral service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, Jan. 15 at the Potter Funeral Home in Dartmouth at 7:30 p.m.

Calling hours will be from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. prior to the service.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701-9376.
