Rochester Boy Scouts named Eagle Scouts

Oct 20, 2019

ROCHESTER —  Residents Patrick Flannery and Jacob Andrews passed their board review and were named as Eagle Scouts on Oct. 19.

For his Eagle Scout project, Flannery, a graduate of Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School, made 28 sturdy and portable handicap signs for the Country Fair parking lot to replace plastic signs that frequently broke and had to be replaced.

Andrews continued a partnership between the Boy Scouts and the YMCA by improving a YMCA camp property.

He and Andrews are the third and fourth scouts in Troop 31 to earn the Eagle rank this year.
