The Wednesday, Sept. 17 meeting of the Rochester Historical Society will be at the East Rochester Church/Museum, 355 County Rd., at 7 p.m.

Title of the program is “Sweetheart Cottage: Restoring a Hidden Gem on Snipatuit Pond.”

Andrea King, current owner of this 1925-29 cottage, will present a PowerPoint program chronicling its restoration. All are welcome. Refreshment will follow the presentation.
