Rochester Land Trust plans town clean-up day
The Rochester Land Trust is planning two events to help the residents of Rochester celebrate Earth Day.
First, along with the Rochester Women’s Club, the Land Trust will sponsor a town-wide clean up on April 13 and 20. Trash bags and gloves will be available at the Rochester Women’s Club, 37 Marion Road from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both April 13 and 20. Filled bags should be left on the side of the road for pickup by the town’s crew. The second event is a trail clean up and brush burn at the George and Katherine Church Wildlife Conservation Area, opposite 190 Marion Road on Saturday, April 13, from 9 a.m. to noon. For more information, call 508-827-0840.
