Rochester Police charge Plymouth pair with local break-in

Jan 3, 2013

Two people have been arrested and charged with a home break-in on High Street in Rochester.

Charges have been filed against Plymouth residents Jason P. Parsons, 34, and Jackalyn J. Kelleher, 50, according to Rochester Police.

The pair was charged by Rochester Police with breaking and entering, destruction of property over $250, conspiracy, larceny from a building, and use of a motor vehicle in the commission of a felony.

The break-in occurred on December 17.

Police responded to the scene after a neighbor called about a suspicious vehicle.

Parsons and Kelleher had already left the scene, but police received the license plate number from the neighbor, according to police reports.

The suspects were arrested in Plymouth, but are also being charged with break-ins by the Middleboro and Kingston Police Departments, according to police reports.

Officers from Rochester, Middleboro, Plymouth, and Kingston conducted surveillance on the suspects’ home and took them into custody on December 17, said Rochester Police Chief Paul Magee.

As the result of a search of the suspects’ vehicle, police recovered items stolen in the Rochester, Middleboro, and Kingston break-ins.

“They’ve been under investigation and we wanted to make sure everything was together before we filed the charges,” said Magee. “I understand that they both have previous records.”

Magee said the Police Department is reexamining previous break-ins in Rochester to see if there is a connection with the pair.

Other police departments in the area are also looking into Parsons and Kelleher as possible suspects.
