ROCHESTER — The Senior Center will host the Rochester Memorial School Jazz Band for a concert and BBQ luncheon on Friday May 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please sign up for the event in advance by calling the Rochester Senior Center. The Council on Aging requests a $5 donation for the lunch. 

The Rochester Senior Center will host a catered lunch on May 31 in appreciation for its volunteers. Volunteers will receive invitations in the mail for the event, which will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and should RVSP for the event.

The Senior Center particularly needs breakfast cooks, dishwashers, food servers and their substitutes for lunches and special events. Call the Senior Center to get involved. 

The Serving Health Insurance Needs for Elders (SHINE) representative at the Rochester Senior Center is temporarily unavailable. To speak with a SHINE representative call the Middleboro COA at 508-946-2490. 

The Senior Center will host its next day trip to the Tiverton Casino on May 28. The bus leaves Dexter Lane at 9 a.m. and will return at 4 p.m. Contact the office to reserve a seat on the bus.
