Salty's Silvery Moon Soiree draws many
Oct 22, 2013
There was no shortage of people or of s'mores for the 7th annual Salty's Silvery Moon Soiree at Dunseith Garden on Friday night.
Hosted by the Mattapoisett Land Trust, the event featured camp fires with wood cut from land trust property over the past year, complimentary snacks, and a storyteller.
There was also music from Mattapoisett resident Luana Josvold, who brought her accordion.
"I'll play as long as I can see, then I'll make a s'more!" she said.
Board member Don Cuddy said the event has become a tradition in town.
"It's the seventh successful year in an event that's become established," Cuddy said.
