The Mattapoisett Historical Society and Mattapoisett Land Trust are hosting the first annual Seaside Scavenger Hunt on Thursday, Feb. 18 from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be maps, clues and prizes for free.

Teams will search for clues and treasures on the property of the Mattapoisett Historical Society, the Mattapoisett Land Trust Munro Property, Shipyard Park and the library. Learn about Mattapoisett history and nature on this winter adventure.

The event starts and ends at the Mattapoisett Historical Society, 5 Church St. There will be refreshments.

Parental supervision is required for children under the age of eight. Participants will cross streets.
