May 14, 2015

An adult and two kids were sent to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries Thursday afternoon following a two-car crash.

The crash occurred just after 5:30 p.m. at the intersection near Oxford Creamery when a car entering Route 6 hit an SUV.

The collision caused the SUV to roll over twice.

The driver of the SUV and two children in the car were taken to the hospital.

Fire Chief Andy Murray was on the scene and said, "Seat belts and air bags saved the day."

Marion EMS and Police provided mutual aid on the scene.
