See a classic film March 8

The Sippican Historical Society and the Marion Council on Aging will show “How Green Was My Valley” on Friday, March 8th as part of its Classic Film Series.

The film will be screened at the Marion Music Hall beginning at 7 p.m.

“How Green Was My Valley” was awarded best picture in 1941, beating out Citizen Kane, which many now consider to be the best picture ever made. I

Arrive early and listen to music provided by Truman Terrell on the piano and Bob Sanderson on clarinet with vocals by Michele Richardson. David Pierce will offer comments at the movie’s conclusion.
