The Showstoppers perform their harmonies all over the South Coast, but they recently got the chance to wow a new audience.

The group, made up of local kids aged 6 to 19, performed at Disney World on Aug. 8. Twenty-four members of the group went on the trip.

Their performance included a medley of patriotic songs, "Some Nights" by Fun, "Lean on Me" by Bill Withers, and "We Go Together" from the musical "Grease." The young performers also shared the stage with Minnie Mouse.

During their show, the group wore a bracelet with a silver charm with an "N" on one side and an "N" on the other in braille to honor member Nick Claudio. Claudio could not make the trip as he is getting treatment for a brain tumor that caused him to go blind, said Kelly Zucco, who leads the group.

During the trip, the Showstoppers also participated in a performing arts workshop at Disney.

"The kids' performance was nothing short of amazing," said Zucco.
