The Sippican Choral Society will present “The Many Moods of Christmas” on Friday, November 30, and Sunday, December 2.

Starting with the Irish 12th century Wexford Carol, the concert will feature Christmas music, ranging from popular songs and folk carols to hymns and an ancient chant set to African rhythms.

Brian Roderick will direct the chorus with accompaniment by pianist Michelle Gordon and organist Dwight Thomas.

The Sippican Chamber Choir will also perform, and the Southcoast Children’s Chorus will sing under the direction of Leslie Piper.

The Friday concert will be at 8 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church on County Street in New Bedford. The Sunday concert will be in Marion at Tabor Academy’s Wickenden Chapel at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $12 for adult and $6 for students and are available at The Bookstall in Marion, Gail’s Goodies & More in Mattapoisett and at the door.
