Members of the Old Hammondtown School band and chorus converged on Sippican Healthcare Center Wednesday afternoon to sing and play Christmas carols for residents.
"The residents have really been looking forward to this," said Anne O’Connell-Bishop, activities director. "It's part of our holiday spectacular for the month."
OHS band director Emily LaFleur said the event is fun for the students and the residents.
"It's a really nice community builder," she said. "The kids really like it. They love it."
During the concert, the residents, many wearing holiday hats sang along with the tunes.
"They are very good," said resident Judy Blake. "It was a lovely concert."
