MARION — The Sippican Historical Society is hosting several events in the coming weeks.

President Will Tifft will lead a walking tour of Wharf Village beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 2 in front of the society building at 141 Front St.

There is a 12-person limit. Contact the society to reserve a spot.

Echo Luna, a jazz fusion band featuring local guitarists Calvert Nolan and Harrison Fortenbaugh, will perform in the memorial garden at 27 Main St., behind the Sippican Historical Society building, from noon to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, July 3.

The performance is free, but donations are welcome.

In case of inclement weather, the performance will be rescheduled.

The Sippican Historical Society Speaker Series will present Steven Ujifusa discussing Barons of the Sea, at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 14 via Zoom.

Ujifusa is a historian and a resident of Philadelphia. His second book, “Barons of the Sea: And Their Race to Build the World’s Fastest Clipper Ship,’’ tells the saga of the great 19th century American clipper ships and the Yankee merchant dynasties they created.
