Sippican Lands Trust October events

MARION — From bird walks to Halloween events, the Sippican Lands Trust has outdoorsy activities for all this October.

Fall bird walk
On Oct. 10 at 9 a.m., Sippican Lands Trust Office Manager Nicole Kirkos will lead a fall bird walk for Global Big Day. The walk will explore the White Eagle Property’s birds and other wildlife. All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Trunk or treat
On Oct. 16 from noon to 2 p.m., families can meet the Lands Trust at the Benjamin D. Cushing Community center for a trunk or treat event. The Lands Trust will be there alongside the Council on aging, Boy Scouts, the Marion Fire Department and other local organizations.

Mushroom walk
On Oct. 17 at 11 a.m., the Sippican Lands Trust will host a mushroom walk at the White Eagle Property, in conjunction with the Boston Mycological Club.

Volunteer work party
On Oct. 24 at 10 a.m., join the Lands trust for a volunteer work party to complete the bridge work at White Eagle and start the bridge at Howland Marsh.
