ROCHESTER — On Sept. 28 and 29 Sippican River alpaca farm will join with other alpaca owners across the country in celebrating the 18th National Alpaca Farm Day with X, Y and Z.

The event offers the public the chance to see and learn more about alpacas. 

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. guests at Sippican River Farm can touch and feed the alpacas, learn about the animals and their fleece, and visit the farm store to see alpaca hats, gloves, socks and more. The event is free to the public. 

Sippican River Farm is located at 32 Bates Rd. in Rochester. Follow signs from the intersection of Mary’s Pond Rd and Bates Rd.
