Spend spring break at the Mattapoisett Library

MATTAPOISETT — Bored on the week off from school? The Mattapoisett Library at 7 Barstow Street  is hosting a multitude of activities to fill teens' schedules while on spring break.

Kat Suwalski is hosting WildKat Hoops on Tuesday, April 22 at 1 p.m. Participants will learn basic hula hooping moves to help increase hand-eye coordination, strength, balance and agility. No prior hooping experience is required and wearing comfortable clothes and bringing a water bottle is advised. 

Wednesday, April 23 at 12 p.m. the First Citizens’ Federal Credit Union will be holding an Economic Empowerment Hour. Teens 12 to 18 years old can learn budgeting, saving and understanding credit. Pizza will be provided and registration is not required.

Stretch, unwind, and recharge with Andrea DeVeau-Cabral of Power and Grace Yoga as she hosts gentle yoga on Thursday, April 24 at 11 a.m. The experience is recommended for all levels of physical ability and is suitable for ages 12 and up — no registration required.
