Spook-tacular schedule with the Elizabeth Taber Library

MARION – The Elizabeth Taber library has plenty of October events to get you in the Halloween spirit. 

Check out a pumpkin at the Elizabeth Taber Library. Pick up a pumpkin, take it home to decorate, and return it to the library by October 28 to enter our Great Pumpkin Contest. Carved pumpkins will be accepted only between Oct. 26 and Oct. 28. This is sponsored by Fieldstone Market.

Table Top Gaming Club is on Saturday, Oct. 15th at 11 a.m. Open to all players, all ages welcome. This month will feature the games Smash Up and Pandemic.

The Ghost Glow Hunt for Kids is Friday, Oct. 21 at 4 p.m. Over a hundred ghosts are hiding in the library. Grab a glow stick and join the hunt for spooky prizes.

A glass blowing demonstration with glass artist Kim Savoie is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 22 at 11 a.m. See a demonstration of hand held glass blowing techniques outdoors at the library.

Tim Weisberg from Spooky Southcoast will visit the library on Thursday, Oct. 27 at 6:30 p.m. This is a thrilling and chilling program on local legends. Paranormal vortexes, ghosts, UFOs, cryptids and true crime can all be found in our own backyard.

The library’s Great Pumpkin Party is on Friday, Oct. 28 at 5 p.m. Join the library for pumpkin decorating and spooky book crafts. Help them pick some winners in the Great Pumpkin Contest.
