MATTAPOISETT — A paper collectables sale will be held on Saturday, July 15 at the Mattapoisett Friends Meeting Hall, 103 Marion Road, Mattapoisett, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Many collectables will be for sale including world postage stamps, postcards, ephemera and historic photos.

There will also be Rochester post cards, nearly 100-year-old photos taken at the Hollywood's shore and an 1864 deed from Seth Cowin to Lenart Hall Jr. abutting Caleb Dexter property in the Pine Island section of Mattapoisett.

A special box featuring stamps for one cent each will be available for young and old interested in being introduced to the hobby of stamp collecting.

All proceeds will help fund the Priscilla Hathaway memorial art scholarship managed by the Mattapoisett Land Trust.
