Mattapoisett Recreation will offer several summer programs for kids.

Adventures in Space runs from July 7 to 11, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and offers kids an opportunity to build and launch a rocket, design and create alien life forms and make star wheels for gazing. The day camp is open to ages 6 to 11 and is held at the Old Hammondtown School gym. The cost is $110 per participant.

Musical Theater will be July 14 to 18, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is for kids ages 5 to 13. Kids will be part of a production of “Teen Beach Movie. The program is $155 per participant and will be held at the Old Hammondtown cafetorium.

Nature Explors is a week-long camp from July 21 to 25, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Kids ages 8 to 11 will explore Mattapoisett nature around town. The cost is $125 per participant.
