The Marion Mile summer running series for kids will open its 18 season on Tuesday, June 25 at 6 p.m. on the Tabor turf fields on Spring and Front streets.

The runs are open to all kids age 14 and under. There will be a mile run for ages 7 to 14 and a half mile for runners 6 and under. The cost is $20 for the entire summer series. Runners will receive a t-shirt and ribbons for each run. Series leaders will also receive trophies.

Wareham Pediatrics is the sole sponsor for the series.
