MARION — Come to Elizabeth Taber Library for a “lively” discussion with a local author.

The library will host Paul Rooney, author of “Widow’s Cove” Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. 

“Widow’s Cove” is a thriller set in the heart of New Bedford. The discussion will cover the “captivating story” and Rooney’s writing journey. 

A book signing will follow. Limited copies of “Widow’s Cove” will be available for sale at the event.
