Thomas Francis Clarke, 60, of Cambridge and Marion MA, died peacefully on September 3, 2021 in his Cambridge home.

Son of Thomas M. and Lorain Meola Clarke of NJ, Tom is survived by his wife, Alison Hodges, his mother Lorain, and his brothers Dennis Clarke (Joanne Pagliuca) of NJ, Martin (Jane) Clarke of NC, and Graham (Peggy) Clarke of NY.

Tom is also survived by his nieces Jean Coletta “Cola” (Benjamin) Solwitz of NY, Katherine and Lucia Clarke of NC, Pooja Chakma of Hong Kong, and Salome Giorgadze of WI, and by nephews Matthew Clarke (Victoria Stillman) of MO and Zachary Clarke of NY.

Also surviving Tom are his brother-in-law John C.F. (Carolyn) Hodges of MA and Canada, as well as his many, many extended family members, friends, colleagues, golf partners, and bandmates.

Tom brought enormous acceptance, wit, generosity, and wisdom to everyone he met. Tom loved people, and people loved him back.

Passionate about music, food, wine, golf, the arts, sports, and his work as an electrical engineer, Tom’s humor and insight will live on deeply in all who knew or even met him.
