MATTAPOISETT — Two seniors at Old Rochester Regional High School have been named among the four total recipients of the Mattapoisett Lions Club’s 2024 Peter B. Hodges Memorial Scholarship.

Old Rochester seniors Hunter Bishop and Jaymison Gunschel, as well as Bishop Stang High School senior Lillian Manning and Wareham High School senior Brooklyn Bindas received the awards of $2,500 each.

“All are recognized as the result of their outstanding community service, academic achievements and career goals,” a Mattapoisett Lions Club press release said.

Funds for the scholarships are raised through the Mattapoisett Lions Club at the annual Harbor Days Arts and Craft Festival and other events throughout the year.
