MARION — The Sippican Lands Trust has invited edible plant expert Russ Cohen to hold a foraging walk at Brainard Marsh on July 31 at 10 a.m. Participants on the free walk will explore wild strawberries, beach plumbs and many other plants. 

Cohen wrote “Wild Plants I Have Known…and Eaten” in 2004 and has led numerous foraging walks on properties around Massachusetts for groups like the Buzzards Bay Coalition.
 
Parking for Brainard Marsh is located near the corner of Bass Point Road and Delano Road (look for the Sippican Lands Trust’s Brainard Marsh sign). Parking is limited so please carpool if possible.
