MARION — Dog owners and their pets can join the Sippican Lands Trust for its annual Post-Thanksgiving dog walk on Dec. 1 at 1 p.m. at the lands trust’s White Eagle property.

Dogs must be leashed and under their owner’s control at all times.

White Eagle is located off of Route 6 in Marion. Turn onto Parlowtown Road across from the town cemetery and follow road until the cul-de-sac. Veer left onto the bumpy dirt road and follow past an abandoned cranberry bog on your right. Parking is available directly past the bog and along the road. The kiosk is a short walk beyond.

The walk is free and no registration is required. Dress appropriately for the day’s weather and bring water. Only the worst weather will cancel a lands trust walk. If a walk is canceled, then information will be posted to the group’s website and Facebook page.
