ROCHESTER — The Buzzards Bay Coalition will host a ride for clean water for the 13th year on Oct. 6.

Riders choose courses ranging between 35 and 100 miles. The shortest course begins in Rochester, though all 300 riders will pass through Rochester and Mattapoisett on the way to Woods Hole.

Each cyclist in the Watershed Ride has a fundraising goal that supports the Buzzards Bay Coalition’s goal to improve area water quality. This year the organization will raise more than $225,000.

The Buzzards Bay Coalition is also offering free training rides throughout the month of September in several towns. Routes and dates are not yet determined. To reserve a spot at a training ride, visit savebuzzardsbay.org/events.

Registration for the ride is open at savebuzzardsbay.org/ride.
