Woman arrested after car crash in Rochester

A Middleboro woman was arrested on drunken driving and other charges following a car crash reported on Tuesday evening. According to police, the crash was reported at 6:03 p.m. near the intersection of Rounseville Road and New Bedford Road.
Linda M. Duphily, 63, was arrested on the scene after she failed to yield and struck a car headed south on Rounseville Road. Two passengers in Duphily’s car were taken to Tobey Hospital in Wareham with minor injuries.
Duphily was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation, failure to yield, and possession of a Class B substance, which police suspect may have been cocaine.
Duphily was released on bail and was due to appear in Wareham District Court Wednesday morning.
