Jan 27, 2015

Trisha Macey, a resident of Hillside Motel, was arrested Monday for allegedly running a prostitution business.

According to the Mattapoisett Police Department, Macey, 27, was discovered as a result of an ongoing narcotics investigation.

For the past several weeks, narcotics officers observed multiple men arriving at the Hillside Motel and entering room 108 while Macey’s boyfriend would wait outside. Macey’s customers would allegedly call her cell phone number, which was obtained from an advertisement on Craigslist.

On Monday afternoon, police contacted Macey by text message and arranged a meeting. An undercover officer went to the motel and was invited into the room by Macey. After exchanging money with Macey, who allegedly agreed to the services, she was arrested.

Macey was charged with sexual conduct for a fee and was transported to the Wareham District Court for arraignment.

Detectives from the Fairhaven Police Department assisted with the investigation and arrest.
