MARION — Celebrate the changing of the seasons with the Marion Art Center at their upcoming ‘Spring Sings and Strings’ event.

Musician Aoife Clancy will perform on Friday, April 18 at 7 p.m. 

Her music is inspired by her father Bobby Clancy who was a member of the “The Clancy Brothers” and introduced her to ballads and traditional Irish music.

Upon moving the United States in 1990, she joined the Grammy-nominated Irish American ensemble Cherish the Ladies where she performed over 200 days a year in Europe and North America.

Clancy now splits her time between North Carolina and the SouthCoast of Massachusetts.
