Susan E. (Collins) McKay, 90, of Acushnet, passed away Aug. 17 at New Bedford Health Care Center. She was the widow of Louis W. McKay, Sr.

McKay was born in Dartmouth, daughter of the late William C. and Florence A. (Demoranville) Collins, and resided in Acushnet most of her life. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Rochester. She was a member of the Rochester Congregational Ladies Guild. She enjoyed duckpin bowling and arts and crafts.

Survivors include three daughters: Linda S. Wales, of Acushnet, Karen E. Hooley, of Rochester, and Diane R. Poulin, of Rochester; three sons: Louis W. McKay, Jr., of Brooksville, Fla., Donald G. McKay, of Fairhaven, and Barry T. McKay, of Acushnet; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.

She was mother of the late Russell D. McKay, grandmother of the late Sharon Vaughan and sister of the late Verna Holstius and Avis McConville.

The family wishes to thank the staff of New Bedford Health Care for their kindness and loving care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, Aug. 20, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Kirby Funeral Home, 61 Tarkiln Hill Road, New Bedford.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Beacon Hospice Inc., 182 North Main St., Fall River, MA 02720. Interment will be in Acushnet Cemetery, Acushnet.
