Mattapoisett’s 12th annual Taste of the Town is set for Tuesday, July 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. in Shipyard Park. Sponsored by the Mattapoisett Woman’s Club, this event features signature dishes from area restaurants. Lobster rolls, chowder, shrimp cocktail, soup, Portuguese style chicken and more will be on the menu.

All proceeds benefit the Mattapoisett Woman’s Club Scholarship Fund and other nonprofit agencies on the South Coast. The event will be held rain or shine.
