Marion Recreation offers holiday crafts for kids

Nov 14, 2017

Marion's Recreation Department is offering a new after-school activity for students: holiday crafts.

The children will make their own holiday gifts, cards and decorations, supervised by the Recreation Department's Art Program instructor, Mary Smith-Tondreau.

The after-school sessions run from November 26-December 8, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Parents can choose to send students one day, on specific days, or the entire two weeks of the session.

Parents can register their children online at the Recreation Department website, www.marionma.gov/recreation-department, or mail/drop off application to 465 Mill Street.

The cost is $35 per session or $125 per week.

The site of the sessions has not yet been determined; parents who enroll their children will receive an email confirming time and place of the sessions.
