Some birds might've flown south for the winter, but there are plenty who are willing to brave a New England winter.

See if you can spot them on December 2, when the Nasketucket Bird Club is hosting a bird walk to explore the fields and ponds of Rochester. The walk will begin at 8 a.m.

Trips generally last two to three hours. If weather is questionable on a walk day, please call the trip leader 774-207-8515. Participants are asked to meet at the Mattapoisett Park and Ride, 87 North Street in Mattapoisett.
