The public forum for the Town House Building Committee and its subcommittee to present its two projects has been moved from the Music Hall to Sippican School.

“There does seem to be a lot of interest in this meeting,” Town Administrator Paul Dawson said. “We can only seat 125-150 people comfortably at the Music Hall. My sense is that this will be a well attended meeting.”

With those facts in mind, Dawson said the decision was made to move the hearing to the school for more space.

The meeting is Thursday, March 1 at 6:30 p.m.

The Town House Building Committee will present its project for a Town House renovation, and the subcommittee will present its findings on what building a new structure on the VFW property would cost.
