Tuesday is the last day to return nomination papers for Mattapoisett’s town election.

The following have already returned papers: Marcia Waldron for the one-year term on the Library Trustees, John Eklund for moderator, Berry Denham for Highway Surveyor, Russell Bailey for Board of Health and John Decosta Jr. for Community Preservation Committee.

Paul Silva (Board of Selectmen), Leonard Coppola (Board of Assessors), Carol Sherman Clifford and James Muse (School Committee), William Osier and Elizabeth Sylvia (Library Trustees), Albert Meninno Jr. (Water/Sewer Commissioner), John Vaughan (Mattapoisett Housing Authority) and Jodi Bauer (Community Preservation Committee) have yet to return their papers.

Currently, there is no one running for the open Planning Board position. Gail Carlson had taken out papers to re-run for her seat, but withdrew on March 30.
