National Public Safety Telecommunications Week  will run from April 8-14 this year. The week is meant as a time to recognize telecommunications personnel in the public safety community for their service and commitment to the profession.

911 dispatchers are the link between all responders, working with both the citizen in need and the police, fire and emergency medical personnel responding.
