'Seed lending' returns to Taber Library

Apr 10, 2018

The Elizabeth Taber Library's "Seed Lending Library" has returned, making new seeds accessible to any gardener, whether a greenhorn or a regular green thumb.

Any tri-town resident with a SAILS library card can stop in at the library and "checkout" a selection of seeds for free.

Then, plant the seeds in the garden, watch the plants grow, and harvest the seeds. The aim is to return next-generation seeds for others to enjoy, but beginning gardeners are also encouraged to simply have fun trying out gardening.

The seeds are categorized by ease of growing and seed harvesting, making finding the right seeds simple.
