Explore 'God's creation' during spring walk on May 6

Apr 30, 2018

The Mattapoisett Congregational Church and the Mattapoisett Land Trust are leading a free spiritual walk for families on May 6, beginning at 10:15 a.m.

The walk, "Loving God's Creation," will take place at the Munn Preserve in Mattapoisett.  It is an easy walk, on a flat, wide, unpaved road.

Participants will walk on one of the oldest roads in town—originally an oxcart road and on property once owned by John Hancock, signer of the Declaration of Independence.  Participants are encouraged to bring bug spray, long pants and comfortable shoes.

Signs for parking and trailhead at the end of the Mattapoisett Neck Road just before the Antassawamock Community. Contact Patricia Berry, at radiantwaves.pb@gmail.com to sign up or with questions.
