Rochester residents Riley Nordahl and Gabriel Noble-Shriver were honored on May 16 alongside 300 other Eagle Scouts, for attaining the highest Boy Scout rank possible.

The Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner is held every year, and all scouts from the Narragansett Council (which serves Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts from Rhode Island, southeastern Massachusetts and parts of cConnecticut) are invited to celebrate the Eagle Scouts' achievements.

Nordahl and Shriver belong to Rochester Boy Scout Troop 31. Both received their Eagle Scout ranks in 2017.

Nordahl graduated from Old Rochester Regional High School in 2017, and is a freshman at the University of Rhode Island, studying Chemical Engineering.

Noble-Shriver is a senior at Old Rochester Regional High School. He is planning to attend UMass Amherst in the fall to study Electrical Engineering.
