Here are the following roster changes within the Marion Fire Department as of late:

• Norman Johnson of Engine 6 has retired after 43 years of service.

• The department has promoted four firefighters to lieutenant: Peter Bourgault, a marine safety officer; Adam Nawoichik for Engine 2; Joel Watters for Engine 1; and Ray Reilmold for Engine 1.

• Christopher Nye is the new acting captain at Station 2.

• There's one graduate from the Fall River Volunteer Fire Academy, Matthew Miller.

• Lastly, there are two new volunteers: Nicole Parrish and Zachary Parsons.
