Mattapoisett Town Historian Seth Mendell returns to Mattapoisett Free Public Library with his annual summer lecture series for six consecutive Tuesdays, beginning Aug. 14 and running through Sept. 11.

Lectures will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the library, located at 7 Barstow St.

This summer lecture series focuses on World War II military campaigns. The series is being held in collaboration with the Mattapoisett Historical Society. The lectures are free and open to the public.
