The Friends of Mattapoisett Library seek donations of new and gently used bangles, baubles, beads and bows for the library's annual Jewelry and Accessory Sale, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 11, at Mattapoisett Free Public Library at 7 Barstow St.

A  "Friends Members Early Bird Sale" will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10. People can become a 'Friend" at the door on Friday night.

In addition to good quality fine and accessory jewelry, organizers seek donations of scarves, purses, clutches, and wallets. The Friends of Mattapoisett Library is a 501(C) non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible. All proceeds benefit library programs.
